WHO ARE WE?
The CSU Fort Collins Student Chapter is for undergraduate and graduate students interested in learning more about the field of Human Resource (HR) Management and pursuing a career in HR. Our chapter was formed in Spring 2007, serving CSU and the community for 17 years.
PURPOSE

Acquaint students to Human Resources

Keep students up-to-date on new developments in HR

Provide learning opportunities through interaction with HR practitioners and organizational change leaders

Promote the development of HR professionals and leaders of organizational change for the future.
WHAT DO WE DO?

Hold bi-weekly meetings featuring HR professionals as guest speakers and group discussions elaborating on topics

Provides networking opportunities with local HR professionals

Offers opportunities to gain HR experience through internships, job shadowing, and projects

Encourages professional development by attending state and regional conferences and case competitions
CAN I JOIN SHRM?
All CSU students that are interested in HR are welcome, even if you aren't an HR or COB student! For example, many of our members are studying psychology or other areas of business (e.g. Organizational and Innovation Management).
CAN I ATTEND A MEETING WITHOUT BEING A MEMBER?
Yes! Any student is welcome to drop into meetings! We hope to see you there!
