WHO ARE WE?
The CSU Fort Collins Student Chapter is for undergraduate and graduate students interested in learning more about the field of Human Resource (HR) Management and pursuing a career in HR. Our chapter was formed in Spring 2007, serving CSU and the community for 17 years.

PURPOSE
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) at Colorado State University exists to support students in their personal, academic, and professional growth. As a student chapter of the world’s largest HR professional organization, our purpose is to prepare future leaders by fostering career readiness, building leadership skills, and creating a supportive community for students interested in human resources and related fields.

WHAT DO WE DO?
We meet biweekly to bring together students from all majors who are eager to learn and grow in the business and HR world. Our chapter offers:
-
Professional Development through résumé and interview workshops, and HR guest speakers.
-
Networking Opportunities with peers, faculty, and industry professionals.
-
Career Insights via discussions on current workplace topics and trends.
-
Community & Leadership by providing a collaborative space to build skills, share ideas, and connect with others who share similar goals.
CAN I JOIN SHRM?
All CSU students interested in HR are welcome to join, even if you’re not an HR or College of Business student! For example, many of our members study psychology or other business areas, such as Organizational and Innovation Management.
CAN I ATTEND A MEETING WITHOUT BEING A MEMBER?
Yes! Any student is welcome to drop into meetings! We hope to see you there!
